Abductions in the state have become “a big business” though some kidnappings are for religious reasons, – Rev John Joseph Hayab.
“Western nations are not doing enough. They have shown that the resources of Africa are more important than the ordinary people," Bishop Kukah.
“I entrust to the Lord all those who have tragically perished, and I pray for the injured and all those who suffer as a result of this tragic event.”
This is the Pope’s fourth visit to South America since becoming Pontiff. Previously, he has made visits to Brazil, Equador, Bolivia, Paraguay and Colombia.
