Fr Chris O’Donnell made national headlines when a campaign was launched by hundreds of young people appealing to Pope Francis to keep him in Limerick.

“Fr Chris has touched the lives of many young people and has been an integral part of youth development in Limerick and is known for bringing different branches and sections of the youth together in the most amazing and multiple ways.”

“Since becoming President almost six years ago, Michael worked relentlessly and with compelling conviction to lead the College with clear-sighted vision through a difficult era for higher education,” said Professor Eugene Wall, Acting President of MIC.
