There are many people whose ancestors are from Kilkenny in Ireland buried in the graveyard of St Paul’s Cathedral in Kilkenny, Minnesota.

“It was very moving to hear the councilors speak from the heart of their own personal stories of indebtedness to orders and congregations” - Bishop Brendan Leahy.

Civic recognition will honour all the work done in the town by the Augustinian priest.
