Students served dinners in Mallow St Gospel Hall, worked on the garden at Our Lady of Lourdes crèche, cared for animals at Limerick Animal Welfare and helped the Franciscan Friars in Moyross.

Visiting US lecturer describes his time working with shelter: "My time with the men at the shelter made me reflect on the many ways in which I have been blessed in my life and my own shortcomings in passing those blessings onto others."
