MISSIONARIES WITH 8,000 YEARS SERVICE HONOURED.
Today (27.11.13) in City Hall Dublin over 200 returned missionaries were honoured. The missionaries who have all served for more than 40 years or more overseas were recognised for the huge contribution they have made in education, human rights, justice and healthcare in developing countries. Sabina Higgins wife of the President spoke and greeted many of the returned missionaries at the event.
