‘GUEST FROM THE WEST’ BOOK LAUNCH.
‘Guest from the West’ is a fascinating new book by Fr Hugh Mac Mahon SSC giving an insight into almost 50 years spent as a missionary in Korea. The book while drawing on Fr Mac Mahons experiences in East Asia reflects on two questions, what Irish Missionaries have to offer their home country on their return such as the alternative approaches to society, morality and spirituality that the east present to the west and what is the future of ‘Mission Abroad’ from Ireland and other European countries.
