Children’s Charity Urgently Seeks Volunteers for Collection Day
Buckets for Barnardos is a one-day nationwide bucket collection taking place on Friday 25 October to raise vital funds for Barnardos children’s charity. The charity is urgently calling for volunteers to give just two hours of their time to shake a bucket in more than 100 locations across the country. Actress and author Amy Huberman is leading Barnardos’ call for volunteers. “Giving as little as two hours of your time will make a huge difference to Barnardos,” said the actress. “On average each volunteer will collect €50 in their bucket in an hour so the more volunteers out shaking buckets on October 25th, the more cash will be raised to change children’s lives for the better. And if you can’t volunteer, you can still help Barnardos by texting BUCKET to 50300 to donate €4. 100% of your donations will go to fund their incredible work with some of the most vulnerable children.” PIC.
