The Church Support Group is an independent organization serving the main Christian Churches in Ireland and the UK.
Established in 2002, it has a number of varied and interesting services on offer. These services can be found on the group’s main website www.churchsupportgroup.com.
A vacancy has arisen for a leader to head up www.catholicireland.net and join with the heads of each of the other sectors to contribute to the growth and success of the overall group.
The successful candidate should have a good working knowledge of the Catholic Church in Ireland. A theology degree or other formal relevant qualification would be desirable. Some knowledge of general business (planning, budgeting, marketing) would be a distinct advantage. Fluent English and a working knowledge of written and oral Irish would also be beneficial.
As the head of this division your duties would include interaction with other church bodies, research, working on your own initiative, decision making, generation and updating of website content, use of Microsoft Office suite of professional software, knowledge and operation of social media, working as part of a larger team coordinating the efforts and input of other team members.

The job will be based in Bray Co Wicklow and normal office hours on a Monday to Friday basis is envisaged.
