Popular Catholic speaker Jason Evert is coming to Ireland this month. Jason is known for his witty, relatable and impactful approach to speaking about chastity to teens and young adults. He has spoken to more than one million students across six continents and has written over ten books.

For the first time, Jason will be visiting Ireland for a busy schedule of talks across the country. One of his main events will be on Thursday 15 January at 7.30 p.m. in Merrion Road Church, Blackrock, Dublin. This free event is for anyone 13 years or older and doors open at 6.45 p.m.

The theme of his tour is “It Starts With the Heart”, and topics covered are likely to include friendships, dating as a Catholic, being truly free to love, the meaning of sex, Christian marriage, and more. To reserve free tickets for this event, click here

Jason has been endorsed by a wide range of church leaders, sports stars, school principals, students and parents. Cardinal Sean O’Malley (Archdiocese of Boston) says: “Jason Evert has a remarkable ability to present the beauty of human sexuality and the truth of God’s teaching on the virtue of chastity. I have heard this young man speak and witness to his Catholic faith, and I have seen first hand how positively our young people react to him.”

Another well-known figure, Pete Vere, states: “As the youngest canon lawyer in North America, and someone who has spent the last three years ministering within marriage tribunals, I see every day how our contemporary culture destroys marriage and the family. From my experience, contraception and pre-marital sex play a major role in the breakdown of most marriages that I am asked to investigate. If only these couples had read Jason’s book before they attempted marriage, and taken its content to heart. Unfortunately, by the time they end up in my office it is too late. Jason’s book is truly the antidote to the annulment crisis infecting the Church in North America.”

Jason has a master’s degree in theology and an undergraduate degree in theology and counselling with a minor in philosophy from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He lives with his wife, Crystalina, and their children in Arizona and together they run Chastity Project. Through low-cost resource distribution, media appearances, seminars and social media, Chastity Project exists to promote the virtue of chastity so that individuals can be free to love.
