"In Season & Out of Season - Proclaiming God's Word"
This is a course for priests which will take place in the Irish College, Rome from September 14 to 24, 2010.
Now in its seventh year, priests both diocesan and religious have enjoyed the ambience, friendship, prayer, learning and relaxation afforded to them by this gathering.
This year the focus is on the priest as preacher and will include insights from scripture, the laity and pastoral experience.

Liturgies will be clebrated in the Irish College and in varous locations in Rome and beyond. There will be opportunities to visit many of the sites associated with the genesis of the church including the tomb of St Peter and the catacombs. There will also be an audience with Pope Bendict and a visit to Subiaco, the birthplace of western monasticism.
The cost is €1,450 and includes airport transfers within Rome, en-suite accommodation on a half-board basis as well as entrance fees and course materials. Please note that many dioceses recognise this course as ongoing formation with attendent subsidy.
