Organisation of the Visit

Fr Bernard McGuckian SJ, Central Spiritual of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association, has the overall stewardship of the project.
He sees it as a collaborative venture in each diocese and between dioceses.

In each Cathedral or church the Administrator will co-ordinate the activity within the church. It is hoped that all the church-affiliated groups and associations in the diocese especially those with a special link to the Sacred Heart Devotion will give their cooperation and support. The Spiritual Director of each Diocesan Pioneer Council will take responsibility for the transportation of the relics. The model will be the formula that proved sucessful in the veneration of the relics of St Therese of Lisieux.
