There are two St Oswalds: one lived in the 7th century; he was the King of Northumbria who brought St Aidan to Lindisfarne; his feast is on 5th August. The other was a 10th century monk and bishop of Worcester who also became archbishop of York; his feast is on 28th February. Here Patrick Duffy writs about the first of these.
